Message	it reflects back the speed of the largest object in it's path, then the fastest object. Laser is a beam of light, and it reflects off surfaces that do not obsorb light but reflect it back to the unit. Therefore the only advantage in a car would be a black or red car that obsorbs most of the light hitting it, it would give a slight time/distance advantage over other cars.
